MEET LENOX!

Lenox is part of life at our Nakuru center. He is a preschooler who demonstrates an inquisitive spirit with our Little Lambs staff. He is very quiet but his Mona Lisa smile captures everyone he meets.

MEET BETH!

Beth was just a toddler when she became one of our original Little Lambs. Now in her late teens, she lives with her grandma. She loves to sing. Her best friends are two other Little Lambs Sarah and Ruth.

Hero Spotlight - Emily

I felt called to sponsor Janet after visiting Little Lambs in Kenya and seeing the amazing work they are doing in the lives of the children there. Because of the program, these children are able to receive education, food, and medical care, but most importantly, they are taught that Jesus loves them and has created them uniquely. I have no doubt these children will change the world for the glory of God, and I wanted to be a part of that for a very special child.

Chris has been part of life at our Nakuru center since his mom passed away a few years ago. Nakuru is a city that holds all of the challenges and opportunities of an urban setting. Chris is full of life and is very inquisitive. He also loves to be the center of attention and can often be found in front of a crowd. Your monthly gift of $38 is all it takes to sponsor Chris!

MEET SAMMY!

Sammy joined Little Lambs in 2016 after he was found sleeping outside someone’s house due to extreme hunger. He is an introvert at heart and extremely shy. A CALL TO PRAYER - KENYA ELECTIONS TUESDAY

I will admit that our election process can often be ugly and even embarrassing. In Kenya elections can sometimes result in violence. Please join us in prayer, asking that Tuesday's elections would be peaceful. Pray especially that our "lambs" and our staff would be protected.

Stepping Down...Brings Something Good

Years ago, I thought about what it would be like when I stepped down from our ministry, Little Lambs.  Not until now have I really thought much about it.  The time has come for me to take that step and I am finding many challenges as the time as come.  On the other hand, let me say that it has been a privilege and an honor to work with these children, the Kenyan staff, the National Director for Little Lambs, Machaa Samuel, and Blasto Maina, the National Director for the KPG for 14 years.  Serving as the International Director has seen many changes in our program, I'd like to say, hopefully, for the better.  

Now we will have new leadership coming on, but he's not a stranger to Little Lambs.  Years ago, we asked Doug Gillaspie and his wife, Deb, to think about taking our position with Little Lambs.  The answer came back as a no, not now.  However, that has recently changed to become a word that is pleasing to hear.  I am pleased to announce that Doug Gillaspie will be serving as International Director for Little Lambs starting immediately.

He is very familiar with and dedicated to our program.  He and his wife were on our first two mission trips to Kenya.  He is a leader, level headed, gets along with both Blasto and Machaa, and best of all, he loves these children.  Please welcome Doug Gillaspie as the new International Director of Shepherd's Little Lambs, Kenya.  

I pray you will all give Doug the support that you have given me over the past years.  Please pray for all of the International Board as they start this new adventure with their new leader.
